There was a (happy) time, after this single’s release in 1975, when, it seemed, you couldn’t walk into a Chicago blues bar/club—like, say, Buddy Guy’s Checkerboard Lounge on 43rd Street (423 East)—without hearing it, usually more than once, on the jukebox.
